Playlist 20-42 ist keine Revanche für die Playlist 20-40, welche ja ausschliesslich Instrumentals beinhaltete. Es ist nur so, dass die Stimme das naheliegendste Instrument jedes Menschen ist, deshalb auch sehr berührend.
Die Playlist bringt eine Stunde mit ausschliesslich Vokal-Ensembles oder Solistinnen. Die Chöre kommen aus allen Kontinenten, wobei es in meiner Sammlung einige Schwerpunkte gibt:
Der Norden: von Russland über Finnland bis Litauen, die Balkanregion: von Bulgarien bis Griechenland, der nördliche Rand des Mittelmeerraums: von Spanien bis nach Norditalien. Natürlich gibt’s auch a capella in Senegal oder Südafrika, in Kuba oder Kolumbien. Und manchmal wird dazu die Trommel geschlagen.
